My approach is integrative, anti-oppressive, and culturally sensitive, supporting healing across the mind–body–spirit layers of your experience. Through gentle self-inquiry, we explore cognitive schemas and meaning-making, and how chronic stress is held somatically — through nervous-system responses, sensory cues, and psychosomatic symptoms, and how your spirit (inner self) holds collective and ancestral influences, inner meaning, and your deeper sense of Self. By understanding these three systems together, the work becomes a pathway back to wholeness — and to the truest version of You beneath survival…

I also hold that none of us exists outside of our lived context. Things like race and culture, faith, gender, sexuality, migration and diaspora, disability and neurodivergence, language, family roles, and experiences of loss or care can all shape how distress is felt — and what safety and support look like. My commitment to anti-oppressive, intersectional practice is ongoing: I reflect on power and bias, stay accountable through supervision and continued learning, and welcome honest dialogue so the therapy space remains respectful, inclusive, and centred around you.

Our work is collaborative and tailored. You are the expert on your life; I bring professional skill, gentle guidance, and a steady, non-judgemental presence. Together we build a clear shared understanding of how your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, relationships, and past experiences interact — and we choose what will support you most.

Depending on your needs, this may include deeper exploration, relational/attachment-aware work, and practical tools to support you between sessions, such as grounding, nervous-system regulation, and reflective journaling — always at a pace that feels safe.

If it feels aligned for you, I also offer Metaphysical Anatomy Technique and Reprocessing Eye Movement Technique (MAT + REE), developed by Dr. Evette Rose, as an additional modality that is used on its own.

MAT is a technique where we utilise quantum entanglement to release emotional blocks in a person’s body and rapid or gentle eye movements to integrate the left and right hemispheres of the brain to integrate the trauma. It is a gentle, guided process that helps you identify emotions, beliefs, and survival responses that may be held in the body and nervous system. Rather than focusing on retelling your story in detail, we work with what’s present now (emotional or physical), using stabilisation and regulation methods such as grounding, breathwork, tapping, guided visualisation, and REE.. This supports insight, release, and integration. MAT is an optional service that I offer - carefully paced, and not a replacement for medical or psychiatric care. You can find out more in the ‘Services’ tab.

You’re welcome to arrange a free 20-minute call to see if you could benefit. It truly is incredible!

Integrated and Compassionate Counselling

Client Testimonals

“Excellent Counselling Services - I have been receiving counselling services from Deep Kaur for the past few months, has been an excellent journey so far. Deep listens empathetically to the issues I face and then looks at root causes, suggesting techniques and strategies i.e. journaling, which I found really beneficial, and using box breathing in stressful situations, just to give a couple of examples. I would highly recommend the counselling service Deep Kaur offers, and you would definitely see the benefits. Thank you”.

“I was called to connect with Jasdeep feeling weighed down by childhood trauma that I had carried for most of my life. I never imagined how much healing could happen in such a safe and compassionate space. Through the Metaphysical Anatomy Technique with REE, I was able to process emotions I had buried for years, and in a separate session, we explored the emotional connection to a physical symptom I had been experiencing. I left each session feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to myself. Deep has a rare gift of making you feel truly seen, understood, and supported. I will always be grateful for the healing I experienced and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone ready to begin their own journey.” – AK, 39

“I came to Deep at a point where I was really struggling and knew something had to change. She was recommended to me by a friend, and from the very time we spoke on our intro call and the first session we had, she made me feel safe, heard, and understood - Something i havent been able to find in my personal life. Deep has a warm and empowering way of working, and through our sessions, I’ve felt more confident, grounded, and able to move forward in my life. As a Sikh male, approaching someone for counselling was a huge thing, but Deep was assuring and made me feel at ease throughout. Thank you for everything that you do.” — HS, 22

“Jasdeep has a rare gift for making you feel truly seen, heard and accepted, even when you're carrying the parts of yourself you've been afraid to share. Her warmth, compassion and gentle guidance gave me the safety I needed to process my experiences at my own pace. Looking back, reaching out to her was one of the kindest things I've ever done for myself, and I'll always be grateful for the part she played in helping me find my way back to myself” – SS, 32

“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”

Carl Jung

I gently weave these approaches with Western Psychology and Eastern ancestral understanding, while honouring the connection between mind, body, and soul.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that every person holds the capacity for insight, healing, and meaningful transformation. Sometimes therapy is less about becoming someone new and more about clearing what has obscured you.

In ancient wisdom, the mind is described as already luminous — we simply polish the mirror so it can reflect clearly again.
